1. And I looked when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures say, like the sound of thunder, “Come and see.”
2. And I looked, and behold, there was a white horse; and the one who was sitting on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him; and he went out conquering, and to conquer.
3. And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come and see.”
4. And another horse went out that was red; and power was given to the one sitting on it to take peace from the earth, and to cause them to kill one another; and a great sword was given to him.
5. And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” And I looked, and behold, there was a black horse; and the one sitting on it had a balance in his hand.

1. 我看羔羊揭那七印中的一個，四活物中有一個，聲音如雷，說，你過來看。

2. 見有一匹白馬。坐在馬背上的，拿著一把弓，頭頂有冠冕。他要去征服，是不斷的去作這事。

3. 揭開第二個封印，第二個活物對我說：你過來看。

4. 見有一匹紅馬。給那位坐在馬背上的是權柄的象徵，一把寶劍，能將人間的和平拿走，導致人與人之間彼此殺害。

5. 揭開第三個封印，第三個活物對我說：你過來看。見有一匹黑馬。坐在馬背上，拿的是座天秤。

6. 此時，聽見在四活物當中，有聲音說：一細亞的小麥要一銀幣。三細亞大麥同樣要一銀幣，就不要為此浪費那些油和酒。

8. 見有一匹灰色馬。坐在馬背上 的，有個名字：死，墳墓跟在其後。這位給了死亡在地球，只有四分之一的影響範圍內，可以用任何方式去消滅，如用刀劍，用糧食失衡，用肉身的死亡，這些地球上的野蠻行徑做成。

從這章開始，那是將來會發生的事。當時指的將來，就是今日或者以後的世代都能看到的事，那麼就今日回看啟示錄的將來的事，在今日究竟有多少可以看到。

這處有四種顏色的馬，似乎是對應馬背上那位，要成就什麼事是相對應。

白色，似乎是得勝又純正，白衣人似乎就是說耶穌基督。為什麼沒有神的存在，有的，就是那位無法用形象去形容那位。白馬是征服。按舊約以色列人的觀念，就是人離開了神。是什麼緣因離開？神就是要征服人這些離開的緣因，按保羅一針見血的說法，就是人的私心慾念。

紅色，似乎是指人間導致人流血事件的象徵意義。那個坐馬背上是那位？他手中有劍，可以將人間的和平拿走，沒有和平的想法，就只有自私一念。人的自私是世間亂象的起源。耶麼這位坐在背上的，不是神，卻是有權柄的，因私心亂了世界，人間流血不止。

黑色，這位坐馬背上的，手拿天秤，那是衡量的工具。這匹黑馬的出現，是有四大洞物當中，有話加插的，很特別，說的是，一銀幣可以買小麥可以買更多的大麥，小麥比大麥的價值更為高效，就不要浪費那些油和酒(烹調出來的價值)。這是使者，就是事奉那坐在那寶座上的，可算是有識之士。

灰色，這位有個名字：死。這個死的名字要表達什麼意思？它是有墳墓隨之而來，是具體的死亡，是身體和靈魂的分離(這是原文當中有這樣的一個意思 G2288)。導致死亡的緣因是人為：天災人禍以及人心險詐做成。

如果這反段翻譯是原文的意思(因為字句本身有許多不同用法)，這處用字的原則是按神是愛，人是離開了愛，以及保羅對人離開信仰行事不公是因為私心這樣的看法，在這樣的觀念下，作出選擇那個意思更合乎表達信仰的精神和原則。

那麼這處只有白馬代表神差耶穌基督給人帶來的啟示，征服這人間的禍害，是個永無止境的見證。其他紅色、黑色和灰色，都是現存世界的現象。這現象今日看來，倒是真確無比。當時約翰感受到的社會現象，與今日很相似，對將來的世界也不會走樣。

我信神，也信約翰的體會，也明白新約聖經的作者他們同樣有這樣的看見和體會。
