9. After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number, out of every nation and tribe and people and language, was standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and holding palms in their hands;
10. And they were calling out with a loud voice to Him Who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, saying, “The salvation of our God has come.”
11. Then all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
12. Saying, “Amen. Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power and strength be to our God into the ages of eternity. Amen.”
13. And one of the elders answered and said to me, “These who are clothed with white robes, who are they, and where did they come from?”
14. Then I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “They are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; and they have washed their robes, and have made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb.
15. For this reason, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and the One Who sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
16. They shall not hunger any more, nor shall they thirst any more; neither shall the sun nor the heat fall upon them,
17. Because the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them to fountains of living waters; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (A Faithful Version)

9. 說完了受印是那些人以後，我看到有許多的人，人數無法算出來。是從各國和各族，有不同的文化和語言，一起站在寶座和羔羊面前。這些人身穿白衣，手拿棕櫚樹枝，

10. 向坐在寶座上和在旁的羔羊，大聲說：你是我們的拯救。

11. 此刻眾使者站在寶座周圍，長老和四活物面伏於地，以表敬意，

12. 同時說出：讚美主！願頌讚、榮耀、智慧、恩典、尊貴、權柄和權能，都歸於我們的神，從今時直到永遠。阿門。

13. 當中有長老問我：那穿白衣的是誰？從哪裡來？

14. 我就對他說：長老，你是曉得。然後，他就說：這些人，是從大患難中被救出來的人，是用羔羊的血，將他們的衣服洗得白淨。

15. 正因這緣故，這些就在神寶座前，晝夜事奉。坐在寶座上的，就在這些人中間。

16. 他們從此不再飢餓，不再口渴，不再感受到太陽那火一般的炙熱。

17. 事關在寶座和民眾當中那位羔羊必施以牧養，領他們到生命水的泉源。將他們眼裡那淚水抹掉。

上一段說的是猶太支派，亞伯拉罕之後，他們得著管理大地之權，是從被造之時起。這段是當時除了這些亞伯拉罕之後，便是世界存在那些非猶太人，有不同的國不同的文化不同的語言，都在寶座前與猶太人一起，有白衣人在他們當中。

這些外邦人，與猶太人一樣，共同事奉同一位，是藉耶穌基督的血，將自己潔淨。這些人等同於亞伯拉罕之後，是用以說明，神當日應許亞伯拉罕，因信以致子孫多如沙數。這個應許有二層意思，一個是肉身的應許，以守割禮為表徵，另一個是以在思想上行割禮，因福音而成就 (保羅的理解) 。

這二類別的亞伯拉罕的子孫，在那日子，都一同事奉那坐在寶座上的。與那坐在寶座上的這二類別人士，都享用同等的福利：不再飢餓，不再口渴，不再感受到太陽那火一般的炙熱。這個似乎是指在肉身上的滿足，是因為精神上更為飽足的緣故。

這一切都是神以及耶穌基督所做成的結果，這是果將來會成就的光景，現在就呈現在約翰的面前，是因為有耶穌基督出現，就在約翰仍在世這段時間。約翰似乎藉這小說體的預言，將以後會成就的屬天光景，是猶太人和外邦人同為亞伯拉罕的子孫的一個預言，必然成就在耶穌基督的身上。
