1. Then there appeared a great wonder in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and having the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2. And being with child, she cried in travail, and was in pain to deliver. 3. And another sign was seen in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on his heads; 4. And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to deliver, so that he might devour her child when she gave birth. 5. And she gave birth to a man Child, Who was to shepherd all the nations with a rod of iron; and her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6. And the woman escaped into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there for a thousand two hundred and sixty days. 7. And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels warred against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels warred. 8. But they did not prevail, neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9. And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent who is called the Devil and Satan, who is deceiving the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. 1. 神殿打開,歡聲雷動之際,現出一幅偉大而奇妙的異象:一婦人,身披陽光,腳踏月亮,頭戴鑲嵌 十二星星的冠冕,
2. 她懷有身孕,臨產時大聲叫喊,生產感到劇痛。
3. 異象中有另一景象:有一條巨大的紅龍,七頭十角,七頭上戴著王冠。
4. 它尾巴橫掃,把天上三分之一星星,掃落地面。而龍就站在這正在臨產的婦人面前,準備吞噬這初生的嬰孩。
5. 婦人生的是一名男孩,他手持鐵製的杖,去牧養世上眾民。她的孩子,受到那位坐在寶座上的保護。
6. 婦人就逃避到曠野,神給她預備安居之處,而她給初生的兒子哺乳一千二百六十天。
7. 而在天上,為保護而發生了爭戰。米迦勒和他使者一起與龍和它的使者進行對抗。
8. 只是龍沒有得勝,在天上也就沒有它的位置。
9. 這龍和它的使者們,一起被摔到下界。原是一條古蛇,稱為魔鬼,又叫撒但,是對世界作出欺騙。
這後異象的描述似乎是說一段耶穌基督降生的歷史。
這處描述那位婦人不是無名氏,是那位亞伯拉罕,由他而出有十二支派,頭上有神僕人的印記,她是這個無與倫比的族類的後裔。
她懷孕,臨盆之際,有條紅龍,有七頭十角的王冠 (如果七代表當時的七燈臺,那十角就是控制燈臺的黑手),看著那快出生的初嬰,有什麼冀圖?
婦人生出來的嬰孩,很特別,手持鐵杖是用於牧養,是有堅決捍衛到底的味道,是受那坐在寶座那位保護。什麼樣的保護?婦人和孩子的人身安全,讓他們到一處人不能接近的地方,花了三年半的時間給嬰孩足夠的成長的養分。
在人間看似平靜的三年半時間,在天上卻是正邪大戰,這龍是古蛇,它一直都在潛機而動,正邪二方的使者對碰,天上再沒有牠的位置。那麼地上呢?
這景象的描述,似乎這婦人身份,不是男女那樣,而是在描述生產和牧養,是耶穌基督跟信眾之間的作為,由悔改而來的重生,跟以後有人的靈復甦,以此牧養,是一生的承擔。天上那古龍是沒有位置,地上他的使者,有沒有位置?
