1. And after these things I heard the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the honor and the power belong to the Lord our God.
2. For true and righteous are His judgments; for He has judged the great whore, who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and He has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand.”
3. And they said a second time, “Hallelujah! And her smoke shall ascend upward into the ages of eternity.”
4. And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, Who sits on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!”
5. And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all His servants, and all who fear Him, both small and great.”
6. And I heard a voice like that of a great multitude, and like the sound of many waters, and the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty has reigned.

1. 火燒淫婦之後，聽到天上有許多響聲，說：哈利路亞！救贖、榮耀、尊貴，以致權能都屬乎神。

2. 祂以真確又公正，審判了那淫婦，是因為她以賄賂為手段，敗壞了這個世界，又流那些事奉神的人的血。

3. 這些聲音又再響起，說：哈利路亞！燒她所發出的煙，會持續到永遠。

4. 這時看見，二十四位長老與四活物，俯伏膜拜，就是坐在寶座上的，說：哈利路亞，啊們！

5. 寶座上四周，隨即有聲音，宣告：眾事奉又敬畏神的，不論大小，都來讚美主。

6. 這大群人發出的聲音，大得像眾水會聚，聲如雷響：哈利路亞！那位全能者已經坐著為王。

7. 讓我們齊來歡呼，榮耀歸給祂，只為羔羊的婚宴已經到來，新婦也預備好了。

8. 她身穿由細麻造成的衣服，純潔且亮麗，細麻所造的衣裳，就是聖徒的公義。

9. 使者就對我說：你要這樣記錄，那些被邀參加羔羊之筵的，有福了。結尾加了一句：這是神真正的話。

10. 我聽罷，就俯伏在他腳前。只是使者卻說：千萬不要，我與你同是服侍的身份，也是弟兄，同為耶穌是將要來那位，原是神的靈作證。

這個大淫婦就是巴比倫，她的淫行就是做了傷人利己的事，她的偉大是建築在犧牲別人成就自己的私慾。這是事實都結束了，也應該結束，這些不正的勾當，它是可以長久，神不會也不可能任之長久，不干預其中原因是，給人有改過的機會。這位創造者同時給被欺壓的人給予一切的幫助，只要信便可。

為什麼要信？如不信的話，就不會相信神是真的去伸出援手，這是正常的思維，就是有常識的人都明白的結果。為什麼不參與那婦人的淫行，正直的人便會導致傷害？這也是常識，因為一參與就會自然成為他們一党，行傷人利己的事，不參與那就是她的阻礙。

不想參與的，如何能以一己之力去應對？答案是不可能。除非有更大更有力的後台，這後台大多隱而不露，有在地上也有在天上。

約翰就是要讓猶太人看到，又重申猶太人在歷史中的經歷，看到還有將來的希望，這希望是在他祖先由神口中承接而來的應許。一方面是自己認定正確的方向，一方面讓神參與以堅定去走出另類的精彩人生，不是強者定義的。

猶太人的希望既在神，約翰便讓他們看到神現今就來到，那是耶穌基督，在此段出現的羔羊。當人擁有自身的公義，不作傷人利己的事，就能參與羔羊的婚宴，因為你有同樣的資格：身穿細麻做的衣服，是這婚筵只一的服飾。

這是不是約翰一廂情願的說法？第9節就是重申，謹慎地聲明：是神本有的心意。
