25. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he die, shall live again;
26. And everyone who lives and believes in Me shall not die forever. Do you believe this? “

這段描述有一個很重要的觀念，信耶穌，又明白他說什麼的，什麼時候會活過來？

耶穌行神蹟是有舖排，不是隨意。

拉撒路是從死裡活過來。耶穌刻意為之，是因為刻意遲了二天，行程又拖遲多二天，共四天的時間。就是要讓人在現場去體會，什麼是神蹟。人是怎樣從死裡活過來，拉撒路就是個他們可以親證的例子。不是將來是現在，當人全心相信這一刻，心靈就復甦，是全新思維的一個人。

這種因信而得新的思維新的生命，馬大這位性格粗豪的女子顯然不明白。耶穌將信藉耶穌信神 (耶穌說不是他行的神蹟是神自己，他是因此得榮耀) 的真正意義向馬大說明。因為神的緣故，耶穌就能說出這樣的一句：25. 耶穌說：復活在我，生命也在我。信我的人，雖然死了，也必復活。26. 凡活著信我的人必永遠不死。

這句說話中的不死，是指在新思維當中，這人在行事為人都有了新的價值觀，從黑暗中走出，詮入了光明，是全新的一個人，是擺脫了人世間種種人為了控制而來的約束，活在光明自由當中。

這後有一個暗藏的比對，就是馬利亞。她沒有馬大的粗豪卻另有一番細緻，她一直都明白耶穌要做的事，就在滿有信心之中，默然的等候。

這處有三類人：一是不相信有神蹟；一是相信有神蹟，是將來的事；另一是相信現在就發生，在默然去等待，看什麼時候會發生。你是那類？
