1. But seeing the multitudes, He went up into the mountain; and when He sat down, His disciples came to Him.

2. And He opened His mouth and taught them, saying,

3. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

5. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

6. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

7. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall find mercy.

8. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

9. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God.

10. Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11. Blessed are you when they shall reproach you, and shall persecute you, and shall falsely say every wicked thing against you, for My sake.

12. Rejoice and be filled with joy, for great is your reward in heaven; for in this same manner they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

1. 耶穌看見許多人到來就醫，就上了山。坐下不久，使徒此時也到來。

2. 便開口引導，說：

3. 心靈虛待的人有福了，因為天國是他們的。

4. 見憐哀慟的人有福了，因為他們必得安慰。

5. 常存溫柔的人有福了，因為他們必承受地土。

6. 飢渴慕義的人有福了，因為他們必得飽足。

7. 適時施憐的人有福了，因為他們必蒙憐憫。

8. 全然清心的人有福了，因為他們必得見神。

9. 使人和睦的人有福了，因為他們必稱為神的兒子。

10. 為義受逼的人有福了，因為天國是他們的。

11. 遇到被辱罵，或者逼害，甚至捏造各樣借口毀謗，這全是因為我的緣故。

12.要欣然要喜樂，在天上對你回報是大的。要知道這些事也曾發生在先知身上。

這是接續許多人求醫的情況下，就上山。這處境可以有許多解讀，其中一項有可能是避開。為合要避開？若是按在出道前受試探這處境中了解，是因為知道自己能力過大，引來自我挑戰，是在個中當中正邪不兩立的決心試煉。遠離群眾，就是避開群眾引來權力的誘惑，就自上山，避開這種誘惑。

避開了就對使徒說出避開誘惑的良方：八福。

• 心靈虛待的人有福了，因為天國是他們的。心靈虛待之能見天國是因為放下了自我。

• 見憐哀慟的人有福了，因為他們必得安慰。將心比己的人就像耶和華對人的感動。

• 常存溫柔的人有福了，因為他們必承受地土。對不如意不月滿事常帶溫柔就朋友通天。

• 飢渴慕義的人有福了，因為他們必得飽足。對真相真理的認真，就能明白人事的轉變背後的緣由。

• 適時施憐的人有福了，因為他們必蒙憐憫。對人適時伸出援手，就像耶和華給人隨時的幫助一樣。

• 全然清心的人有福了，因為他們必得見神。不被人間成就財富誘惑，就能從無私中分辨，人如明鏡，就明白耶和華一切作為的緣因。

• 使人和睦的人有福了，因為他們必稱為神的兒子。讓人與人之間的紛爭利慾之戰都因為有了懂得解決的方法，如神差愛子到來的目的一樣

• 為義受逼的人有福了，因為天國是他們的。像耶穌一樣，為詮釋人世間真實的道理，為此受人厭棄甚至迫害，因為他明白彌賽亞的國度存在的真正意圖。
