32. Now as they came out, they found a Cyrenean man named Simon; and they compelled him to carry His cross.

33. And after coming to a place called Golgotha, which is called Place of a Skull,

34. They gave Him vinegar mingled with gall to drink; but after tasting it, He would not drink.

35. And when they had crucified Him, they divided His garments by casting lots; so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, “They divided My garments among themselves, and for My vesture they cast lots.”

36. And they sat down there to keep guard over Him.

37. And they put up over His head His accusation, written, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”

38. And two robbers were crucified with Him, one at the right hand and one at the left.

39. Then those who were passing by railed at Him, shaking their heads,

40. And saying, “You Who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself. If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”

41. And in the same way also the chief priests were mocking, with the scribes and elders, saying,

42. “He saved others, but He does not have the power to save Himself. If He is the King of Israel, let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe Him.

43. He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He will have Him. For He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ ”

44. And the two robbers who were crucified with Him also reproached Him with the same words.

32. 軍團的人把耶穌帶出去，剛巧遇到一位古利奈人，名叫西蒙，強迫去背起耶穌的十架。

33. 眾人來到一處，名叫各各他，又稱髑髏地。

34. 軍團的人拿給耶穌喝一種用膽汁混和的醋，耶穌嚐了一口，就不喝。

35. 耶穌被釘後，軍團的人就作拈鬮，瓜分了留下的衣服。就應驗了先知所言：這些人用拈鬮的方式，瓜分了我的衣裳。

36. 這事辦完，各自坐下，警惕守著。

37. 軍團中有人拿出一告示牌，放在耶穌頭頂的位置，上面寫著：這是猶太人的王耶穌。

38. 當時有兩位強盜與耶穌同釘十架。一位在右，一個在左。

39. 路過看見的，都會搖頭嘲諷

40. 說：不是說過拆毀那殿，會在三日重建。若是祂的兒子，就救救自己，從十架上下來。

41. 在旁的祭司長、文士和長老，聽到也照樣嘲諷說：

42. 耶穌救了其他人，卻救不了自己！真的是以色列的王，現在就下來，立馬相信。

43. 耶穌叫人相信耶和華，祂若願意，現在就來救他！因為耶穌曾說：我是祂的兒子。

44. 同釘十架的兩個搶劫犯，有一位也用同樣的話指責。

當中記述有三類別：1. 是軍團的人；2.是看熱鬧的；3.祭司長、文士和長老；4.同釘十架的二個人。

1.軍團的。這些執勤的官兵，都是軍階最低的，他們處理犯人的手法，在佔領地就有特權。這些低階兵員，就有這樣的福利，補充微薄的收入。

2.過路的。就是一些道聽途說，對事件一知半解的人，接收到路邊消息，一般都全數接收，不論消息的真假。

3.是教會那群 [有心] 人。這些人對事件的來龍去脈心知肚明，這種附和，是一種不負責任的表態。

4.同是被釘的罪犯。按英中文的翻譯，按字面 44 also reproached Him. 在原來的字源，是第一身單數。有沒有可能比較合當的譯法是：有一個人：has one reproached Him.

另外有的旁證是 路加福音

23： ³⁹ 那 同 釘 的 兩 個 犯 人 有 一 個 譏 誚 他 ， 說 ： 你 不 是 基 督 麼 ？ 可 以 救 自 己 和 我 們 罷 ！⁴⁰ 那 一 個 就 應 聲 責 備 他 ， 說 ： 你 既 是 一 樣 受 刑 的 ， 還 不 怕 神 麼 ？⁴¹ 我 們 是 應 該 的 ， 因 我 們 所 受 的 與 我 們 所 做 的 相 稱 ， 但 這 個 人 沒 有 做 過 一 件 不 好 的 事 。⁴² 就 說 ： 耶 穌 阿 ， 你 得 國 降 臨 的 時 候 ， 求 你 記 念 我 ！

馬太似乎是要說明一件事，因為不同的人，在看同一件事就會有不同的解讀。是不是在提醒讀經的，你是用什麼角度去詮釋？1. 軍團的下階兵員，為二餐是不會理會什麼道理不道理；2.路過的，知道是眾說紛云當中的一種，聽了就當成事實；3.有判斷明是非，只是自身的利益的緣故，不去盡責而矣；4.與耶穌同釘十架，心明大義，垣白承認自己不足 (路加福音版本)。
