26. And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of heaven and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that crawls upon the earth.”

27. And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.

28. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of heaven and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”

29. And God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree upon which is the fruit of a tree bearing seed—to you they shall be for food.

30. And to every animal of the earth and to every fowl of heaven and to all the living creatures that crawl upon the earth, every green plant is given for food.” And it was so.

31. And God saw everything that He had made, and indeed, it was exceedingly good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

26. 此時，創造者說：會照著類似[人]的形象造人，讓這[人]去管理海中的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜，連地球上一切爬行的。

27. 為此，就照著自己的形象造人，按此形象造男造女。

28. 看著，對這二人祝願：要生養眾多，遍滿全地，治理這片土地，並海中的魚、空中的鳥和地上各樣爬行的活物。

29. 又讓他倆看安排好的一切，說遍地上，如結種子的菜蔬和樹上結果核的果子，都是可以作為食用。

30. 地上的走獸、空中的飛鳥，和爬行的活物，草本植物也能當作食用。事就這樣成了。

31. 神看一切造物，甚為滿意。從晚上，到早晨，視之為第六日。

註：第26節：全節都是單數的字詞，在英皇欽定本是用複數，這複數是用以形容27節的男和女，這二者 them 的描述。

第六日，是個重要的描述，許多神學上對人的詮釋的依據。因為這個人，就是今日的你同我。這二性，男與女，與其他植動物有相同的地方，植動物二性是種子和果核。這二性是世界之所以能延續的根本，是大自然整個系統相連。這安排有一個最終目的，是提供人生存：

這系統的目的：28. 看著，對這二人祝願：要生養眾多，遍滿全地，治理這片土地，並海中的魚、空中的鳥和地上各樣爬行的活物。29. 又讓他倆看這安排好的一切，說遍地上，如結種子的菜蔬和樹上結果核的果子，都是可以作為食用。30. 地上的走獸、空中的飛鳥，和爬行的活物，草本植物也能當作食用。事就這樣成了。

最能按照這系統，又享受其中的民族：是亞洲人，這個能反映在食物的要求和種類的多樣當中，是完全照足這處的描述，什麼都可食。西方就有許多限制，是因為地理使然。當中有沒有反映其後的該隱和亞伯的二種心態？這是個很有趣的課題。

這個系統，在後來的研究，從食物鏈的啟迪，主要為人，因此稱為人的維生系統。人是最終的享用者。

當時二個人相處，共同的管理，日子很和諧。因為各從其類就各取所需，如何理解這各從其類各取所需？大家可以留言，這可是個有趣的課題。而這個[人]的形象是男的還是女的？或許是創造者那份創意和良知，是人所共有？ 也許這就是世界的雛型：從虛蕪成了有序，也是今日人創造和發明的源點。
