8. And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,

9. “Behold I, even I establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

10. And with every living creature that is with you—of the birds, of the livestock, and of every animal of the earth with you—from all that go out from the ark, to every animal of the earth.

11. And I will establish My covenant with you. Neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood. Neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.”

12. And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature with you, for everlasting generations:

13. I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

14. And it shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud.

15. And I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16. And the rainbow shall be in the cloud. And I will look upon it that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.”

17. And God said to Noah, “This is the token of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the earth.”

8. 耶和華對挪亞和他的眾子說：

9. 我要與你們和你們的後裔立約；

10. 那些與你們一起的活物，如禽畜類、動物類，讓牠們離開方舟，到陸地生活，

11. 這約是叫你們兩者不再被洪水滅絕，大地也不再被洪水掩埋。

12. 耶和華說：我會用一標記，作為與你，和你的後裔，以及各類活物所立的約，永遠有效。

13. 這標記就是彩虹，安置在雲彩中，以這符號說明，我與這片土地立有契約。

14. 當烏雲出現，就會看到彩虹在霧雲中。

15. 我必記念我與你們和一切有血肉的活物所立的約，水不再氾濫，毀壞一切有血肉的活物。

16. 虹一旦現於雲彩中，看到它，便會記起與地上的一切立有永恆不變的盟約。

17. 耶和華對挪亞說：切記，這彩虹是我與你及地上活物立約的記號。

如果有問，聖經有什麼證明是可信？

天上雨後的彩虹。

它是人與天地造物主，包括人與一切生物，不論動的或靜的。只要不被人破壞，仍舊在地上存有。人，會一直存留，永永遠遠。

借問一聲，閣下有沒有聽過有 [神] 會這樣與人立約？沒有！ 那你應該試試。

我試試展示一個事實，讓你明白。今日世界亂不亂？

答：很亂……………！

正是。但不是最亂，以前的世界，曾有比這更亂，那是未有彩虹出現之前，比今日要亂得多。今日仍有你這個好人在，有記載說當時就得一個。你可否說一下，世界只剩你一個好人，其他都是動不動就傷人害人的人，如何面對？這情況下，你會有何選擇？ 不知！

就讓我說說彩虹的故事你聽：…………。

挪亞，在只有一個好人的處境下，仍堅持作為一個好人，就是不屈從於做傷人害人的事。他自己無法離開那個環境，因為人力有限。只是他相信一事，也是他一直疑惑的事，洪水過後，我是世界上唯一的人，我是因父母生於世上，我父母因她父母而來…那麼，第一對父母從何而來？他們是好，或是壞？

今日就人會問，人從何來，人是好或是壞？有人說過，許多人知道，就是不願相信。我知道，就信。信什麼？世界無人變壞就不會亂。好人不變壞，在無好人的地方，像是死路一條。原來不是，堅持做好人可以。以前有位挪亞，因為堅持不變壞，得耶和華的拯救，是從惡人中拯救出來。並與他立約為記，就是這道彩虹。今日回看，拯救的不單與挪亞，也福及今日願意堅持行善的你同我。

因為祂守信。你能否說說，世界許幾多人會守信？能守信的人，是基於什麼緣因？挪亞相信的，祂守信，是因真心相信，是人生經歷的事讓他相信。你覺得有幾多人會信你是有經歷又守信的人？不用向人證明，是不是，耶和華自有公論。

我是個守信的人，你可以信我，因為我信天地有位創造的主，祂守信施慈愛。可見真心相信的重要：是實現自我拯救的基礎 (你不改變無人能，你不願意耶和華也不勉強)。挪亞是經歷過後更確定地相信，你有過這樣的經歷，就願意恩感而守這約，築壇將心意獻上。這約是單方面成立，立不立約是個人的選擇。
