1. Now when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about a half hour.
2. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3. And another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar; and much was given to him, so that he might offer it with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that was before the throne.
4. And the smoke of the incense went up before God from the hand of the angel, ascending with the prayers of the saints.

1. 當揭開第七印時，整個天上沉寂約有半小時。

2. 這時站在神面前的七位使者，每人分配一枝小號。

3. 另一位天使拿著一個有乳香滲出的金香爐，出來站在祭壇旁。有許多燃燒著香氣的枝子，代表眾聖徒的禱告，獻在寶座前的金色的祭壇上。

4. 那香枝發出裊裊輕煙，從使者的手中，伴隨著禱告的聲迫，吹送到寶座前，。

5. 使者拿著這充滿香枝的爐，從祭壇上拿下，傾倒而下。頓時間，便聽到有人的聲音，有雷響的聲音，隨隨著是閃電行雷的聲音，交織一起。

第七章沒有指是第幾個印，卻可以從第六章結尾時是第五印，到第八章時是第七印，那麼第七章就是第六印的內容。它描述的猶太人和外邦人，是因亞伯拉罕和大衛之後的耶穌基督，都是一脈承傳於亞伯拉罕，都相信亞伯拉罕所相信的。因此都是受印的一族，同樣事奉那位坐在寶座上的。

第七印打開時，天下間沉靜了半小時。這種沉靜，不平靜，似乎哀悼的表達，有些無言以對的感覺。

鏡頭不在寶座和在其上的，而是祭壇。有作為獻祭的香氣從壇中的爐散發出來。這香枝是作為代禱之用，若是一枝代表一位，那就是為很多人作代禱。這些代禱的香枝所散發出來裊裊香氣，隨微少的氣體流動，連同禱聲飄送到寶座那邊。

這幅動漫的描繪，就在將爐火中的香和代禱一併傾流而下，聽到了不同的聲音從火爐散出，便聽到有人的聲音，有雷響的聲音，隨隨著是閃電行雷的聲音，交織一起。這些聲音不是發生在天上，而是在代禱中各種不同經歷，是從末來世界而來，又代表發生了什麼樣的事情，都是不好的事，是那日子來的時候，便會看到。

簡而言之，那是天災人禍不時出現的年代。
