耶和華的事，不謀利沒有版權

1. And Jacob lived in the land of the sojournings of his father, in the land of Canaan.

2. This is the account of the family of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, came tending the flock with his brothers. And he was a youth with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives. And Joseph brought to his father an evil report of them.

3. And Israel loved Joseph more than all his sons because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a tunic.

4. And when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably to him.

5. And Joseph dreamed a dream and told it to his brothers. And they hated him still more.

6. And he said to them, “I pray you, hear this dream which I have dreamed,

7. For behold, we were binding sheaves in the middle of the field, and lo, my sheaf arose and also stood upright. And behold, your sheaves stood around and bowed down to my sheaf.”

8. And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have the rule over us?” And they hated him still more for his dreams and for his words.

9. And he dreamed still another dream, and told it to his brothers. And he said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream. And behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

10. And he told it to his father and to his brothers. And his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I, and your mother, and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the earth before you?”

11. And his brothers were jealous of him. But his father was mindful of the saying.

1. 雅各當時是住在父親之前寄居之地，迦南地域。

2. 雅各的家族史如下。約瑟正當十七歲那年和眾兄弟，他們屬於雅各的妾闢拉和悉帕的兒子，一起放牧。約瑟其後向父親表白他們的不滿。

3. 以色列 (雅各改名)愛約瑟勝過眾子，是年老時拉結所生。當時就為約瑟做了一件長袍，袖子尖長及手掌，衫長及腳板。

4. 約瑟的兄弟見父親愛他勝過他們，心生不憤，沒有給他好面色。

5. 事緣約瑟有個晚上做了一個夢，把夢境告訴眾人，兄弟們就愈發不滿。

6. 約瑟當時說：我有一夢，請聽我說：

7. 我夢見廣闊的禾田，屬於我的麥捆立著在中央，屬於你們的麥捆向其鞠躬。

8. 兄弟們聽罷，回懟：你以為自己王？要管治我們？就因為那個夢和這番說話，引發更多不滿。

9. 約瑟說還有一個夢：夢見有太陽並月亮和十一顆星都向我鞠躬行禮。

10. 約瑟把這夢，都告訴以色列和眾兄弟。雅各這父親卻厲言去責備：這算是什麼夢？難道我和你母親並眾兄弟，都得向你鞠躬？

11. 眾兄弟的反應是氣憤。為父的以色列把這番話都記在心上。

上述網頁是以色列人對約瑟這個夢境放在今日的處境作出詮釋。

約瑟在一個夢中,他將十一個兄弟視為星星,將父母視為太陽和月亮,所有人都向他鞠躬（創 37:10)。早些時候, 夢見他的兄弟們以麥捆向他的麥捆鞠躬的形式出現。 

許多年後, 被買作奴隸的約瑟，突然晉升為法老手下的總督, 當他的兄弟們在迦南飢荒期間來向他購買小麥時, 夢境實現。這些夢不僅預言了約瑟，在埃及的驚人統治地位和作為受苦受難的彌賽亞的原型的角色, 也預言了猶太人，更廣泛的使命和命運 (從地緣了解，也許可以引伸為今日以色列以強悍之勢，讓中東諸兄弟被強迫低頭)。

上述的歷史曾經出現的個人意像，對應歷史發展，似乎看到耶和華對以色列的應許，由個人的到一族，從一族成一國，人數眾多的應許，在歷史的長河中，用事實說明出來。不就印證了聖經當中記載的耶和華所應許的，實現了。也就說明耶和華是可信的，聖經記述是真實的。

可是聖經又記載耶和華是亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各，即後來的更名的以色列，是他們相信的。這樣心信不疑的人，從以色列以後，情況就不是直線而上，而是一直滑落，才有這個耶和華是這三代人真實地相信。以色列以後，有人相信，有更多人不信。

約瑟是這個應許最後的落實，因為當中描述的事實，雅各的十一個兄弟在任何一方面都不及約瑟。為何會是這樣？

那是因為守約。這約是雙方，耶和華與他的後代。能繼承這約的應許只有一個條件：守約。守約也只有一個條件：履行。履行的內容：靈巧純良。耶穌說：差你們去，如同羊進入狼群，所以你們要靈巧像蛇，馴良像鴿子)，是用來應對人生種種的變化，在不同的處境下，不失對耶和華的信心，不會行損人利己的事，也不讓自己失腳。這三代人都做到。

從那方面說明他們做到：注重身份，是原配。是從指定人選當中，從這根以下，才是正統而出。拉撒出的是以撒；拉結出的是以掃和雅各，以掃不選擇跟隨，可以約對他仍有效 (不同以實瑪利)。只是守約的耶和華對亞伯拉罕，不論誰，他們的後代都有12位，以實瑪利是12位、以掃是12位、雅各也是12位，可見是十分公平。要不要選擇，按個人決定，而這決定相信跟隨的，就是從原配而來。

當福音散播時，什麼是原配？是從如何認識而來。福音也是只一種類，從記載亞伯拉罕的歷史依據而來。

後來相信的，是從舊新約而來，那是僅有唯一的依據，那就是原配。而明白耶穌說的靈巧純良，就是一直以來的應對難事的絕妙秘笈，方式千變萬化。若人有困在不解之中，就當查明什麼是靈巧純良，有領受者可以多多去分享。
