耶和華的事，不謀利沒有版權

16. And the report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, “Joseph’s brothers have come.” And it was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and of his servants.

17. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Say to your brothers, ‘Do this: load your beasts and go into the land of Canaan,

18. And bring your father and your households and come to me. And I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat the fat of the land.

19. Now you are commanded; do this. Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.

20. And do not regard your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’ ”

21. And the sons of Israel did so. And Joseph gave them wagons according to the command of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.

22. To all of them he gave each man changes of clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of clothing.

23. And to his father he sent this: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and food for his father for the journey.

24. And he sent his brothers away, and they departed. And he said to them, “Do not quarrel along the way.”

25. And they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan, to Jacob their father.

26. And they told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt.” And Jacob’s heart fainted, for he did not believe them.

27. And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them. And when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.

28. And Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

16. 法老在宮中得到通報，說是因為約瑟的哥哥們到來。法老和他的僕人都為此感到高興。

17. 法老吩咐約瑟，去通知你兄弟，儘量去裝滿糧袋，運回迦南，

18. 之後，把父親及他的一切財物，都遷到這裡。法老會把一塊肥沃的土地賜給他，讓他享用不盡。

19. 現在就命令約瑟你，照這吩咐執行。出去預備車輛，讓小弟弟以及你妻子等人同行，去接你父親到來。

20. 不用為我節約，埃及的一切有你一份。

21. 約瑟就按法老的吩咐，讓以色列眾子依照囑咐把一切辦妥，如上路的車輛數量和需要的糧食等事。

22. 另外給眾人一套新衣，只是對便雅憫給予三百舍客勒銀子和另外五套衣裳。

23. 給約瑟的父親，送贈的有：十頭公驢馱著埃及的上好之物，另十頭母驢馱著糧食，是供給在回程路上所需。

24. 約瑟隨後打發眾兄弟離開，出發前。囑咐他們說：不要在路上爭吵。

25. 於是，眾人便離開埃及，回迦南，與父親雅各重聚。

26. 眾人回家後告訴雅各有關約瑟的事：約瑟活著，並且治理著埃及全國事務。雅各聽罷，心中興奮不已，因為實在無法相信。

27. 眾人又把約瑟吩咐他們說的，一字不漏的轉述。雅各見外邊約瑟派來接他的車輛，他的精神便立時煥發出一片希盼期待。

28. 以色列心中喃喃自語：就是。我兒子約瑟既在人世，臨終前必要去見他一面。

這是整段的中心：雅各，這位父親失而復得，對他而言，沒有什麼比這刻的盼望，更為真實可貴。雅各對失去的兒子，這種失去的感覺，同死去的感覺是一樣。

在耶和華的承諾當中，包含的條件是對祂有信。這條件很簡單，守住這份信心。相信了不去守住，是因為信的不實在。不實在的緣由，是與自己的期待有直接關係。信仰的內容被解釋為[福音]，是什麼意思？在華人傳統觀念，是好不是壞。那麼有壞事、不如己意的事，出現，這信仰就會覺得不真實。

這是信仰觀念在傳遞出去時，是當中內容不完整做成的差距。

信仰的福音，雅各的理解：聽到兒子失而復得，死而復活。猶大的福音，是有份勇氣去承擔，作出悔改的決定，知錯能認，才有勇氣去作出翻身的可能。因為一切都是個人，在自己認知範圍內作出決定。約瑟的福音，是相信耶和華讓他有這樣的經歷，不是叫他吃苦，而是認知一場認知戰。看清耶和華放他在一個無助的世界當中，讓他明白二件事：1. 在患難中與耶和華一起，從中支取須要的心力腦力耐力，以靈巧純良去應變百花齊放的社會環境。2. 在現實中體會何為耶和華的心意。

雅各與約瑟的心願，在這事件當中，似乎是同一樣的冀望：有一天會相聚的可能。

約瑟的努力正好是雅各的冀盼。耶和華為他們成就，打點他們人生的進程。而這二位要堅守一事，對耶和華有信。

若以耶穌說用比喻去理解聖經中的述事，那麼約瑟好比一般被人性中私慾誘惑出賣，看似是受苦受害的一方。猶大就是因為私慾去出賣人性的一方。雅各就是那位父親，深愛著他的二位不同人生觀的兒子，一位失去了另一位走差了。而他唯一的盼望是一位可以復活回來，另一位能回歸人性的光輝，有錯會認。

站在外圍的觀眾，這一幕不就是一個整全的福音，那個濃縮版本：耶和華的盼望，信的不斷自強見證，走差的會明白有回轉的一天，在某一天重聚於天上，一位在右你在左。
