耶和華的事，不謀利沒有版權

1. And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

2. And God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, “Jacob, Jacob!” And he said, “Here I am.”

3. And He said, “I am God, the God of your fathers. Do not fear to go down into Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation.

4. I will go down with you into Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again. And Joseph himself shall put his hand to close your eyes.

5. And Jacob rose up from Beersheba. And the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

6. And they took their livestock, and their goods which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him.

7. His sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his offspring, he brought with him into Egypt.

8. And these were the names of the sons of Israel who came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.

9. And the sons of Reuben: Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.

10. And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a woman of Canaan.

11. And the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

12. And the sons of Judah: Er and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zarah. But Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez: Hezron and Hamul.

13. And the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.

14. And the sons of Zebulun: Sered and Elon and Jahleel.

15. These were the sons of Leah, whom she bore to Jacob in Padan Aram, with his daughter Dinah. All the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty-three.

16. And the sons of Gad were Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.

17. And the sons of Asher: Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and their sister Serah. And the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.

18. These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these whom she bore to Jacob, sixteen souls.

19. The sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife, were Joseph and Benjamin.

20. And to Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potipherah the priest of On, bore him.

21. And the sons of Benjamin: Belah and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.

22. These are the sons of Rachel who were born to Jacob. All the souls were fourteen.

23. And the son of Dan: Hushim.

24. And the sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.

25. These were the sons of Bilhah whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter, and she bore these to Jacob. All the souls were seven.

26. All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, who came out of his loins, besides Jacob’s sons’ wives, all the souls were sixty-six.

27. And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two souls. All the souls of the house of Jacob, who came into Egypt, were seventy.

1. 以色列帶著他有的財富起程，前往別是巴，離開前向父親以撒相信的耶和華獻感恩的祭。

2. 就在晚間，在夢中對以色列以異象方式展示：雅各！雅各！雅各回說：在這裡。

3. 耶和華說：我是耶和華，你列祖也相信那位。不用害怕到埃及去，我要讓你成為大族。

4. 我會陪你一起去埃及，在那裡讓你地位提升，約瑟必能親自為你送終。

5. 雅各得知消息，便前去迎接。見以色列眾子用法老派來的車承，載著父親雅各，以及他的眾子和妻子。

6. 雅各領著眾子，帶著迦南地的牲畜和財物，到了埃及地界。

7. 當中有他的眾子、孫子，女兒、內孫，一同隨雅各來到埃及。

8. 以色列的家譜中到埃及的眾人名字如下：雅各的長子呂便。

9. 呂便的兒子是哈諾、法路、希斯崙和迦米。

17. 亞設的兒子是：音拿、亦施亞、亦施韋、比利亞，還有妹妹西拉。比利亞的兒子：希伯和瑪基珥。

18. 悉帕，她是拉班給女兒利亞的女僕，為雅各生下的孫兒共十六位。

19. 雅各的正娶妻子拉結的兒子是約瑟和便雅憫。

20. 約瑟在埃及地的兒子是瑪拿西和以法蓮。以法蓮是安城祭司波提非拉的女兒亞西納所生。

21. 便雅憫的兒子是：比拉、比結、亞實別、基拉、乃縵、以希、羅實、慕平、戶平、亞勒。

22. 拉結為雅各生的孫兒共十四位。

23. 但的兒子是戶伸。

24. 拿弗他利的兒子是雅薛、沽尼、耶色和示冷。

25. 闢拉，她是拉班給女兒拉結的女僕，為雅各生下孫兒七位。

26. 雅各的後裔，除了正娶妻子出生的二位之外，一同從迦南來到埃及。共六十六人。

27. 把約瑟在埃及正娶的妻子及所生的二位兒子計算在內。雅各家譜總人數共七十人。

這段描述是對雅各人生的一個總結

雅各一生在許多論述，是以世界為人的價值，如成功，高尚的人格和影響力作為評定的標準，雅各被評為狡猾，不順服不安份，這些都不是耶和華對人的要求。耶和華的要求不是這樣，祂幾乎沒有什麼人間的標準，若說有，那標準人間又不接受，而且會抗拒，那就是要求人心有愛意，因愛的付出犧牲自己喜好和權益的決定。

為何雅各與耶和華摔跤，這份人性不被看好，是什麼緣因？

按舊約在摩西筆下，人與耶和華摔跤，是人性又是極其正面的事，是人性善良進取的一面，雅各從來不佔別人應有的利益，不刻意去偷竊他人財物。摩西描述的，是雅各的靈巧純良。華人文化將自身的道德價值加之於雅各身上，那是觀念轉移。今日共你產這個党，用這招，將律法原有的正面價值，改變了觀念，用自己說的為準，同樣是偷換概念的把戲。

雅各，他是用靈巧純良去應對被人欺壓的現實。耶和華在雅各的各樣境遇，都相信他能對祂能有絕對的相信，為此，從不用去提示。直至有日，那是遙遠的未來，就是今日有生之件，得回自己心愛的兒子。華人用的報應，正好說明這事，在人與耶和華之間，因應雅各的相信，又不失自我，在終日得回報，他家財萬貫兒孫滿堂，以至一生不留遺憾。

雅各一生被人欺詐的事不少，相對於今日許多人，遇到的欺詐事件，性質不是一樣，今日人之所以被欺壓，是自己在不誠實和不自信當中出現，被騙的責任在自己無知和貪婪，與人無尤。

人生，不是一時，是一世。種種如意和不如意事件，都是信仰人生的的操練。不出於耶和華，是人，也許是自己，也許是別人。人若硬要覺得自己可以是神一般，這人會成為跌跛一只腳的人。雅各從跌跛中學會，也明白收心養性。許多人因為自大，像伊朗的領袖，像共你產的党中人，這些人耐痛的心力很強，永無悔意，他們不是稀有的品種。

如果覺得自己仍有良知，那恭喜，或許現今什麼都不順，結果必然十分安慰，將這人生信念與人分享，個人本身就是福音。
