耶和華的事，不謀利沒有版權

1. And Jacob called to his sons and said, “Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what shall happen to you in the last days.

2. Gather yourselves together and hear, sons of Jacob, and hearken to Israel your father.

3. Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.

4. Unstable as water, you shall not excel because you went up to your father’s bed; then you defiled it. He went up to my couch.

5. Simeon and Levi are brothers; tools of violence are their weapons.

6. Oh my soul, do not come into their council. Let not my honor be united with their assembly, for in their anger they killed a man, and in their self-will they hamstrung oxen.

7. Let their anger be cursed, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

8. Judah, may your brothers praise you. May your hand be on the neck of your enemies. May your father’s sons bow before you.

9. Judah is a lion’s whelp. My son, you have gone up from the prey. He stooped, he crouched like a lion; and like a lioness, who shall rouse him?

10. The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come. And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

11. Binding His foal to the vine, and His donkey’s colt to the choice vine, He washed His garments in wine, and His clothes in the blood of grapes.

12. His eyes are more sparkling than wine, and His teeth are whiter than milk.

13. Zebulun shall live at the seashore. And he shall be a haven for ships, and his border beside Sidon.

14. Issachar is a strong donkey crouching down between the sheepfolds.

15. And he saw that rest was good and that the land was pleasant. And he bowed his shoulder to bear a burden, and became a tribute-servant.

16. Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

17. Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse’s heels, so that its rider shall fall backward.

18. I have waited for Your salvation, O LORD.

 (A Faithful Version)

1. 雅各召眾子到來，說：你們都近前來，我快要離世，有些事要告訴你們。

2. 眾子就近前來，細心去聆聽以色列最後的囑咐。

3. 呂便，你是長子，你大有能力，去為自己爭取財富和權力。

4. 只是個子性急，像滾開的水一般。因為一時衝動，就走近床邊，上了床，作出污辱父親的尊嚴這種事。

5. 西緬，和利未你們是兄弟，可惜喜歡動武。

6. 我常提醒自己，不要成為你們一夥，以至把自己的名聲沾污，因為你們發怒時殺人，自己就像發癲的蠻牛。

7. 你們的憤怒會受咒詛。那是因為極其猛烈，又極度兇殘。我必驅逐你們出雅各家，在以色列地獵殺你們。

8. 猶大，弟兄對你讚口。你手常在仇敵的頸上！父親的眾子對你都十分敬佩。

9. 猶大是一頭小獅，是從獵物中上來。彎腰的時候，像獅子蹲伏的架勢。誰敢去招惹！

10. 猶大手握權杖，公義不不離兩腳之間，直到示羅來到。萬民都歸順他。

11. 他會將驢與駒拴在上好的葡萄樹，用葡萄酒去潔淨衣服，衣服全沾滿像血一樣的葡萄汁。

12. 他眼睛比酒明亮，牙齒比奶潔白。

13. 西布倫，住在海邊，你是避難所，是船隻避風天堂，就在西頓的海旁。

14. 以薩迦，是一頭強壯的驢，蹲伏在地作隨時的幫助。

15. 對他而言，休息在平靜的草原是一件美事，他願意去肩擔重任，樂於為眾人服務。

16. 但，他負責訟栽以色列各族的角色。

17. 但像蛇一樣，潛伏於路旁，專咬馬後跟，騎在馬上的人便會倒下。

18. 人要常記念耶和華，等候他的救恩。

雅各，他是耶和華喜愛是勝過亞伯拉罕和以撒，是因為親口言及。雅各之後，拉著約瑟二位兒子，成了以色列的後代的12支派。這12支派才是對新約的以色列人有直接的影響。新約的事，與亞伯拉罕和以撒就沒有了直接的影響。

為此有必要去了解這2位的個性，因此摩西不厭其煩地去描述出來：

v3. 呂便：他犯了大錯，以色列在臨終前對他的長子呂便所說的一段充滿詩意和悲傷的話語。簡言之，呂便因與父親的妾闢拉有了不當行為，而失去了長子名分和家族的領導權。

v8. 猶大：是個正直的人。直到示羅來到，萬民必歸順他。這是雅各對兒子猶大所作的祝福。當中示羅到來，一般認為是預示新約路加的族譜，就有關於彌賽亞先祖的名單，當中包含猶大，是作為耶穌奉差到來，承接這拯救的一脈。

v13. 西布倫：西布倫 是 第六個兒子 的 雅各 和 莉亞，以及雅各十二個兒子中的第十個。 他的名字的意思是“榮譽”這反映了利亞希望生下第六個兒子能贏得雅各的喜愛（創世記 30:20) 是屬於她個人的。

西布倫死於 埃及。 他的後代組成了 西布倫部落，分配了 加利利 靠近加利利海的土地。這是個聞名 貿易和航運的地方，實現了雅各的預言，西布倫「住在海邊」並「成為船隻的避風港」就是提供這樣殷實的服務人。 

v14. 以薩迦：以薩迦在家中排行第九。雅各最後的祝福 稱他為 “強壯的驢” 有承擔起重擔的勇氣。 以薩迦本人並沒有被描繪成一位主要領袖，他的後代被描述為識時務明事理，擇善固執，支持 大衛（歷代誌上 12:32)。

v16. 但：雅各兒子中排在第5位，是利亞所出，名字帶有明辨的意思。雅各說他是要去審判他的兄弟的所作所為。角色好比 “路邊的蛇”蹲在路旁，咬著犯事的人。 這是特凸顯了這位但，有伸張正義的本質存在。

這是十二位當中的七位。即使耶和華喜悅的雅各，有不覺悟的時候，到了覺悟時，人生觀就起了變化。如是，後代也有自己的際遇，各人不同。這七位當中，前二位的兒子 (因為傳統的關係，女性在家就不在記載的重點) 都是行為偏差，屬血氣行事之。

雅各似乎沒有特別去專注某類個性的兒子。這臨終的提點能否起作用，是由各人自己選擇。雅各似乎不管，卻是有教，教而不聽也是件盡了力的事，只是愛依舊在。這樣子去看待後代的方式，今日是否依舊合用？也許要看父母的智慧。雅各這套會接受？可以分享你的看法。
