耶和華的事，不謀利沒有版權

1. And afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel, ‘Let My people go that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.’ ”

2. And Pharaoh said, “Who is the LORD, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.”

3. And they said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Let us go, we pray you, three days’ journey into the desert and sacrifice to the LORD our God, lest He fall upon us with plague or with the sword.”

4. And the king of Egypt said to them, “Moses and Aaron, why do you keep the people from their work? Get to your burdens!”

5. And Pharaoh said, “Behold, the people of the land now are many, and you make them rest from their burdens.”

6. And Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people and their officers the same day, saying,

7. “You shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.

8. And you shall lay upon them the same number of bricks which they have made before. You shall not reduce it, for they are idle; therefore they cry, saying, ‘Let us go sacrifice to our God.’

9. Let more work be laid upon the men, and let them labor in it. And do not let them regard vain words.”

1. 到了埃及，摩西和亞倫求見新法老，說：以色列人相信那位那自有永有者說，能否容許他的子孫，在曠野舉行傳統的節期。

2. 法老問：耶和華是誰，竟要聽從祂吩咐？耶和華不認識，也不許離開埃及。

3. 摩西說：希伯來人相信的 [神] 向我們顯現。請容許我們去曠野，三天足夠。是在那裡向那位自有永有者獻祭，是為可以免除牧畜的瘟疫，不然就要用人力去消滅。

4. 埃及新王回說：摩西、亞倫，為何要憂心這些人的事，自討苦吃？

5. 法老續說：他們人數眾多，他們停工損失巨大。

6. 過了幾天，新王吩咐屬下的督工和執行人員說：

7. 今日以後，不用為他們去準備各樣製磚的草料，叫他們自己準備。

8. 每日出產數量跟之前一樣，不能少。只為這幫人想偷懶，就用借口，說要去獻祭。

9. 給他們更大的工作量，更努力工作，免得去糊思亂想。

摩西的說詞，要不要耶和華指示？不用。這顯然是他自己決定的方式，因為他有自由的思維也有如何決定的能力。耶和華給了他在無路可走，無計可施的情況下，仍有可行的手段，確保拯救成功。

他第一步，是探索新王對以色列人的態度。摩西以獻祭為由放行，這個理由是不充份，因為有勞務的價值，以色列人正為建造大城的工程出力。摩西想出的方式，是給他們三日時間離開埃及，用以測試這人的同情心。

這新王卻不是摩西所想，不旦沒有按摩西設想，有自己的衡量：以色列人想懶。摩西不曾想過的理由，用巧反拙，讓以色列人的勞苦加重。

摩西不是有心卻實是無意，便加重了以色列人的生活成本。

為何耶和華不直接指示，一條又直又寬的路，不是省卻許多不確定的可能？這是耶和華和領袖之間的分別，無非用愛心去助人。耶和華在生活中給人鍛鍊心志，讓人精益求精。人間領袖是叫人跟隨，按指示辦事。耶和華在人辦差的時候，仍有出路的可循，因祂在旁。而領袖，沒有給跟隨的人太多的機會，指責或是擊殺隨時下手，這樣的領袖是揸盡人的才能，便棄之山野甚至殺害，當然有少數會不同，那是良心猶在。

耶和華知道摩西是無法讓新王放走以色列人，人最難被改變，是心志堅定，不論是好或壞。摩西會否氣餒才是耶和華擔心，為此早給他行事的能力的保證，能否成事，就看他的心志。你的心志如何，是決定你的立場。
