14. These were the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi. These were the families of Reuben.

15. And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul, the son of a Canaanitess. These were the families of Simeon.

16. And these were the names of the sons of Levi, according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were a hundred and thirty-seven years.

17. The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimi, by their families.

18. And the sons of Kohath: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred and thirty-three years.

19. And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These were the families of Levi according to their generations.

20. And Amram took Jochebed, his father’s sister, for his wife. And she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty-seven years.

21. And the sons of Izhar: Korah and Nepheg and Zichri.

22. And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael and Elzaphan and Zithri.

23. And Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, for his wife. And she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

24. And the sons of Korah were Assir and Elkanah and Abiasaph. These were the families of the Korahites.

25. And Aaron’s son Eleazar took his wife of the daughters of Putiel. And she bore him Phinehas. These were the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

26. It was Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, “Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.”

27. These were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. It was Moses and Aaron.

28. And it came to pass on the day the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,

29. That the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “I am the LORD. You speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all that I say to you.”

30. And Moses said before the LORD, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken to me?”

14. 這是以色列人屬於先祖雅各，長子呂便，後代有哈諾、法路、希斯崙和迦米，屬呂便一大家族。

15. 西緬的後代有耶母利、雅憫、阿轄、雅斤、瑣轄，他們是迦南人的後代屬西緬家族。

16. 利未的後代計有革順、哥轄和米拉利。利未活到一百三十七歲。

17. 利未兒子革順，後代有立尼和示米。

18. 利未兒子哥轄，後代有暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯崙和烏薛。哥轄活到一百三十三歲。

19. 利未兒子米拉利，後代有抹利和母示。他們是繼承利未一族的事奉，是世系的職份。

20. 哥轄的兒子暗蘭，娶了父親的姊姊約基別為妻。約基別為他生了亞倫和摩西。暗蘭活到一百三十七歲。

21. 哥轄兒子以斯哈，後代有可拉、尼斐和細基利。

22. 哥轄兒子烏薛，後代有米沙利、以利撒反和西提利。

23. 哥轄兒子暗蘭，他兒子亞倫，娶了亞米拿達的女兒，拿順的妹妹以利沙巴為妻，生了拿答、亞比戶、以利亞撒和以他瑪。

24. 哥轄兒子可拉，後代有亞惜、以利加拿和亞比亞撒。他們的子孫成為可拉一族。

25. 哥轄的兒子暗蘭，他兒子亞倫，兒子以利亞撒娶了普鐵的女子為妻，她生了非尼哈。是利未人各族的領袖 (族長)。

26. 大能者吩咐亞倫和摩西：要把以色列人各族從埃及領出來。

27. 摩西和亞倫領受囑咐，會對埃及法老王說，要把以色列人領出來。

28. 大能者囑咐了摩西這事之後，過了一段時日。

29. 大能者對摩西說，是時候去對埃及法老王，提出這樣的要求。

30. 摩西對著這位大能者說：我說話容易衝動，法老怎會聽我！

每一次涉及家譜的出現，都表示一個時代的來臨，例如：亞伯拉罕的二個兒子，以撒和以實瑪利，奠定了今日中東二大族群的勢力。這二勢力一是智慧充足一是人力頂盛。繼承約的傳統，只有以撒，他有二個兒子，以掃和雅各，只有雅各開啟了信仰者新的又活的傳統，一位敢與大能者角力，心中有份靈巧純良的人性，在被欺壓的生存空間中，不去傷人利己。雅各有12個兒子，只有約瑟在更大的生存難關中，因為個人的忠誠自強，保持一份清新的人性，以靈智巧計，須是為奴之身，卻不掩埋辦事真心誠意，為人為己，成了別人的知心友。這三代人，對耶和華有體會也有領受，忠於自己所信，因為耶和華與他們的接觸，由近變遠。家譜反映出這種微妙的變化。

到了約瑟，因為是在為奴之地，原本與王室之間的互信，因為朝代更替，這種人與人之間的親蜜關係，在新生代中不復存在，會因為族群的不同，不能互信有關。破壞這種關係，是因為人以血氣行事引發。

摩西知道有耶和華，不認識耶和華。有知識，有同族的感情，卻在異族中成長，有知識也有人在高位的傲氣，只是忘記自己的處境。摩西似乎是出於民族的情懷，一時忘了身處的尷尬，血氣行事之後，產生了不良的後果，是人無法處理。耶和華介入，因為有約。

到摩西向經過二個王朝的法老，說要領以色列人出埃及，雅各的12族，就只剩下這章記述的三個族群：呂便、西緬、利未。摩西和亞倫是利未之後 (可參考創世記46章的12族群) 。相信這幾代王朝中生活的以色列人，耶和華很久沒有和這群人接觸，以至要他們在今日去明白，先祖相信那位，是今在永在，自有永有，天地創造的大能者，用這名稱表述會更深刻地讓他們明白，這是唯一的拯救。只因耶和華，他們對這聲音太陌生了。

摩西，被揀選帶以色列人出埃及，須說是摩西闖出的禍，卻是耶和華可以出手的時機。 人闖禍就要看是關於什麼，同約有關，耶和華必然出手。正因如此，摩西成長的環境，讓他充滿人性的衝動，靠血氣(保羅的體會)行事。他的自知之明，大能者明白，讓亞倫協助，正是血性和理性的結合，這是成功必須有的條件，沒有血性的衝動那是把事情拖住，沒有理性輔導，就沒有說服別人及淡化衝動帶來的混亂。因此，成就屬靈的事，必有這二種情操在。可惜，這是人成長的必經之路：年青時衝動，漸漸長大才學會溶合理性去辦事，有人早些出現，有人遲些領受體會，有人側重一面，看不到改變的可能。

這種現象能否改變，決定在人的心意，是專注自己還是讓耶和華的聲音，在內心呈現，又以大能的事給你明證，做成人能改變的可能！若有這樣體會，就多多去分享。
