耶和華的事，不謀利沒有版權

1. And God spoke all these words, saying,

2. “I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3. You shall have no other gods before Me.

4. You shall not make for yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters under the earth.

5. You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me,

6. But showing mercy to thousands of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

7. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

8. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

9. Six days you shall labor and do all your work.

10. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter; your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your livestock, nor the stranger within your gates;

11. For in six days the LORD made the heaven and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.

12. Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.

13. You shall not murder.

14. You shall not commit adultery.

15. You shall not steal.

16. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

17. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

1. 耶和華的囑咐是：

2. 我就是你相信的耶和華，領你們出埃及免受束縛那位。

3. 在我和你之間，容納不得別的神。

4. 為此，不要為自己塑像任何形式的像，或是以某種形態如在天空之中，地上和海中有的。

5. 不要輕易下跪，去奉承或去事奉那些心中的偶像，因大能者就是耶和華。祂是熱愛你們，即使你們第三或第四代的後人都不喜歡我。

6. 那些愛我遵行所囑咐的，必有恩典同在直到萬代。

7. 不要亂用耶和華這名號，耶和華不會認為這是無意用之。

8. 持守安息日，視之為分別出來為聖的日子。

9. 六日可以做事。

10. 第七日是耶和華耶和華不作工的日子。安息日，你和兒女、僕婢、牲畜，以及在你生活範圍內的寄居者，都得休息。

11. 那是耶和華，祂在六日之內造天、地、海和其中的萬物，到第七日休息。這是大能者放下工作的一天，將這日刻意分別出來。

12. 對父母保持應有的尊重，就可以明白你的日子為何可以這麼長久。

13. 不可謀害他人。

14. 不要參與淫亂之事。

15. 不容起貪念。

16. 不去作假見證陷害你的鄰舍。

17. 不應覬覦你隔鄰家庭；不可對別人妻子、僕婢、牛、牲畜。驢，以及鄰居的任何東西作出非份之想。

第5節忌邪有正面和負面的意義：

H7065 is the Strong’s Hebrew lexicon number for the verb qānā’ (קָנָא), which fundamentally means to be zealous, jealous, or envious.  As a primitive root, it describes a state of intense passion that can manifest positively as zeal for God or a cause, or negatively as jealousy and envy toward others.

這處採用正面去解釋，因此整個描述就不是誡命，而是勸導之詞，似乎更合乎大能者耶和華的真正意思，因為祂有愛：多原諒，盡量不去懲治，給人無限的機會，人才能在犯錯中，明白回轉時得被接納。

這段描述是耶和華在空中厚雲之內，對摩西說的一番話。這番話須說是對摩西單獨而言，只是山下群眾都能聽得明白。

這種安排很有意思：

1. 須是個人，卻涉及群體。這是一個可傳遞的觀念，就以彼得為例，耶穌稱之為教會的房角石，是用一個觀念：真正的教會是個人的表現，一起有這樣的信心的行動的人在一起，就是見證基督在地上的教會。

2. 它不是誡命。因為對一個人而言，特別是一家人，用的不是律例典章，是祖訓或家規。它有別於法律和規矩，因為當中有更多恩典和包容。這份恩典和包容都在在顯示大能者耶和華對埃及出來的以色列人的愛。
