佛學成了教這是歷史，因為人有需要。基督沒要學的地方，是換醒人的靈，本來是活人，靈卻死了，因此人有需要。二者本質上是不相干，對人都有啟迪作用。 佛，梵文意思是智者，佛學就是智者之言，它的智在什麼地方？佛教宣揚這位智者的領受。這佛是印度一位王子，去尋索人間苦難從何而來，遍歷他能到達的地方去找尋答案。他從人生種種現象去觀察，苦不是外在的東西，是人內在的執著和無明，化解之法是看一切空。 耶穌的出現不同，卻在智者去理解苦緣有共通的地方。 耶穌的出現不是無因，是人間的苦，這種苦被形容為：人走迷。那是因為以色列人先祖與神相遇，因為相信，神賜福與他並其後代。亞伯拉罕之所以信神，也與當時的社會環境有關，那個時代的人比今日的聲色犬馬更為誇張，這種情況發生了二次。一次在挪亞時代，另一次就在亞伯拉罕的年代。亞伯拉罕相信神是唯一的出路，而且堅定的相信，它的信，讓人的義讓信的神給他應許，不會因為苦難的世界而斷子絕孫。 日後保羅的理解，這苦是由人的私慾做成。人原本是和諧相處，因為私慾成了別人的苦難根源，最早的例子是該隱因私慾殺人。人的苦最苦就是被人剝奪生存的權利，這個與印度智者之言的一樣：人間有苦苦由人生。 如何脫苦，智者用人的修為方式，自醒。自醒就是自力，自力可以更生，去除自我當中的執著以及無明便足矣。執著，是對自己想達到的目的可以不擇手段；無明，是看不到事身發生的緣因。這就引來傷己害人的事。 這當中的異同，出於人如何理解其重點和方式有異，產生了無法對話，成了對抗。在以色列人的處境是一個族群的事，一個非常大的家族。家族當中有12支派，當中有一群撒馬利亞人，是小數相信神卻不被大群相信神的接納而來的苦，撒馬利亞人有份善是以色列人當中有所欠缺。而智者的印度，同樣因為種性的劃分，將人分成不同階級也產生了苦。 基佛要處理都是人間的苦。佛是透過人成為覺者解決自身的苦。基督是藉他這個人的身份，認知人緣自神的創造，不是靠自覺，而是靠神的愛。神的愛不用自覺，它就在人裡面，是被人的慾遮掩，光去了黑由此而生，認真自己是光明之子，那愛便再呈現，愛中有神那份自控，能不單為己，也為人人，以犧牲，就是不為私慾利誘，讓大家和平共進，携手創造更為美好的明天。 Continue reading
